Don't Think of It as Hot Flashes, Think of It as Your Inner Child Playing with Matches

The GOP needs to grow a pair.  Big time.  After evaluating the performance of the late-middle-age male consultants and PAC-men who ran the show this election, it occurs to me that we need an Army of Women to direct the GOP.  Not just any women, menopausal women. 

Menopausal women are pissed off.  They are sad that men look through them, never at them.  Their bodies are abused by aches and pains, fat appears where it never was before, and fatigue sets in.  They have hair-trigger tempers.  More importantly, menopausal women just don’t give a damn what you think of them.  They are confrontational, refusing to accept BS from just about everyone.  Net: menopausal women are relentless.

Once the dust settles, and the GOP and conservatives get over secession and imitating Democrats, we will realize we can no longer play nice with the liberals and their media shills that allow them to propagate  ‘messages’ with no answer.  Bring in the size 14+ stretch pants brigade!

Women in their 50s and older lived the ‘culture wars’ of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s; trust me, younger sisters, we did it all – you can’t engender a shocked face from us.  We entered the man’s world of business, carefully walking the tightrope of maintaining our jobs while being asked to bed by our bosses.  We had our children, all the while being told if we stayed home with them we were stupid, vulnerable, and uncool.  We were feminists, Ms. Magazine types, Planned Parenthood volunteers; until most of us realized that we were being used by the feminist movement.

Want to talk abortion – been there, had that.   How about STDs that affect females in awful ways that remain hidden without symptoms for years.  Marijuana? How 60s. Free love was invented by a self-interested male, I’m sure.

Bottom line is that we have the benefit of wisdom that comes from experience.  And we have navigated the coarse culture that sexualizes our children and makes wimps out of our boys.

I admit, I have no campaign experience, but any menopausal woman who has 2+ children can plan.  So many of us are super-educated, and others are educated by living through 30+ years’ of adulthood.  Either way, we have more women in this age-group than any other.   So what do you say, my hormone-free sisters, time for another feminist movement?

Well, I think it's about time to try something new. The "establishment GOP" and their Low-T, viagra swilling, milquetoast campaigns need to be jettisoned. Would you mind pulling the black and yellow handle for them?
