David Corn and Mother Jones are at it again. Yep they are attempting to figure out a way to validate the liberal’s bogeyman – the great "right wing conspiracy" designed by random 60- year- old white males dressed in khakis and blue blazers, orchestrating the war on women and Chick-fil-a for everyone.
Today’s left-wing target is puffy pollster pundit, Frank Luntz. Luntz has long been the go-to pollster for conservative outlets like FOX, appearing on Sean Hannity’s and Bill O’Reilly’s shows regularly.
Luntz spoke at his alma mater the University of Pennsylvania during an event sponsored by the College Republicans. Luntz was asked about his feelings on the polarization that exists in politics today. Luntz supposedly declined to speak about the subject “on the record.” The reporter from the college paper, Daily Pennsylvanian, agreed to turn off his recording device but the Mother Jones spy, Aakash Abbi, recorded Luntz on his Iphone without informing Luntz that he was being recorded or that the recording would be sent to the left- wing rag.
Mother Jones isolated Luntz’s answer from the tape (most likely the recoding has been edited and Luntz’s words taken out of context to for maximum effect):
And they get great ratings, and they drive the message, and it's really problematic. And this is not on the Democratic side. It's only on the Republican side…[inaudible]. [Democrats have] got every other source of news on their side. And so that is a lot of what's driving it. If you take—Marco Rubio's getting his ass kicked. Who's my Rubio fan here? We talked about it. He's getting destroyed! By Mark Levin, by Rush Limbaugh, and a few others. He's trying to find a legitimate, long-term effective solution to immigration that isn't the traditional Republican approach, and talk radio is killing him. That's what's causing this thing underneath. And too many politicians in Washington are playing coy.
I guess this is proof positive to moonbat liberals everywhere that Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin are greedily wringing their hands, desperately clinging to their precious anonymous power over the GOP, prepping their armies of brown shirts waiting in the wings to attack the reasonable Republicans like Rubio and Luntz. Whatever.
