Alexei Pushkov, the head of the Russian parliament’s foreign affairs committee announced on Twitter that Edward Snowden has accepted Venezuela’s offer of political asylum.
Now that Fast Eddie has a home, here are some fun things he can do while living in the beautiful tropical paradise.

He can work longer, so he can earn more…so he can do more cocaine. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime reported that in 2009 Venezuela was the main cocaine transit country in the Western Hemisphere.
He can enjoy the weather. There are only two seasons in Venezuela and they are the hot and dry season, and the hot and wet season.
He can observe cool lightening! Relámpago del Catatumbo (Catatumbo Lightning) is an atmospheric phenomenon that occurs where the Catatumbo River meets the Lake Maracaibo, in Venezuela. The winds blowing across the Maracaibo lake causing lightening for 280 times an hour, 10 hours a day for 160 nights a year!
He can watch sports. The most popular sport in the country is Baseball.
He can sight see and take a tour of Angel Falls - the world's highest waterfall which drops from 3,212 feet.
Grab some skates! During Christmas season, the people of Venezuela roller-skate to church.
Meet a pageant chick. Venezuela has won the Miss Universe title 6 times and the Miss World 5 times till date. This is more than any other country in the world.
He can become a part-time nanny. The schools in this country give the kids so much liberty that they can choose the time to attend school.
But alas – WHAT …NO SIMPSONS? The popular U.S. adult cartoon comedy television series, "The Simpsons” is banned in Venezuela as it is deemd " inappropriate" for children.
