Some have charged that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is successfully imposing gun control – by limiting the production of ammunition. The fear is that new EPA rules will impact both the cost of ammunition and the reduction of supply of available ammo.
The last lead smelter plant in America (the Doe Run Company) closed due to the cost to retrofit the plant with the newly required “pollution control technologies” that reduce sulfur dioxide and lead emissions mandated by the Clean Air Act. This closure will force layoffs of 220 people.
But the reality is that companies like Doe Run will continue to manufacture the lead used in ammunition because most ammunition in the United States is made from recycled lead that comes from secondary smelters.
However, availability for primary lead for some ammunition and construction metals will be limited in the United States and demand for these products will most likely force manufacturers to look overseas for primary lead suppliers – another “unintended consequence” of overreaching environmental regulations.
How many people do you know who were poisoned by sulfur emissions from a primary lead plant? Answer: O.
Exactly. It's 12 million people, about a third of which will end up paying more under this law. And that as you said in the introductions sort of the idea. We currently have a highly discriminatory system where if you’re sick, if you’ve been sick or [if] you’re going to get sick, you cannot get health insurance. The only way to end that discriminatory system is to bring everyone into the system and pay one fair price. That means that the genetic winners, the lottery winners who've been paying an artificially low price because of this discrimination now will have to pay more in return. And that, by my estimate, is about four million people. In return, we'll have a fixed system where over 30 million people will now for the first time be able to access fairly price and guaranteed health insurance.- Jonathan Gruber, M.I.T. Economist
Obamacare is being touted by the Touter in Chief, Barack Obama, as the gift that keeps on giving. Now that a user can sign in on the website and give his or her personal information including health, social security and income information to an unscrupulous hacker looking to steal your identity and wipe out your bank account and the information cannot be adequately transmitted to the insurer (on the back end) that you picked – it’s working!
The question that most Americans have NOT asked themselves is this – “Why are liberal progressives trying to hijack 1/6 of the economy in order to turn something as important as healthcare into a monolithic, unresponsive bureaucracy that will lead to the inevitable consequences of poorer care, less innovation in treatment and rationing?
Recently Mr. Jonathan Gruber, M.I.T. (the architect of the Romney Healthcare debacle in Massachusetts) revealed the singular truth- the progressive liberals want to throw out a “discriminatory” healthcare system and replace it with a government program-using the IRS as the enforcer in order to achieve income redistribution to cover the costs.
As Gruber said, “The only way to end that discriminatory system is to bring everyone into the system and pay one fair price. That means that the genetic winners, the lottery winners who’ve been paying an artificially low price because of this discrimination now will have to pay more in return.”
Genetic lottery winner? So now if you have HIV, acne, diabetes or are near-sighted - you are a genetic lottery"loser"? And somehow that’s not “fair” by some arbitrary government fairness standard; therefore, the government must step in to ‘make it right’? Forget that behavior can influence many health conditions. For instance, the CDC just released a report that 62% of homosexual/bisexual American men are having unprotected anal sex - and they know they are HIV positive. The percentage of self-aware HIV-positive men who engage in unprotected anal sex has been increasing of late. Individual choice and personal responsibility is completely removed from this liberal progressive equation.
Gruber waxes philosophical about “fixing” a system deemed broken. Except for the fact the United States currently has the best healthcare system in the world. And the 30 million uninsured? Where does that number come from? No one knows, but at least 12-15 million are younger healthier folks who CHOOSE not to be insured and the other part is most likely illegal immigrants who receive treatment anyway – take a stroll through any hospital ER in Texas or Arizona on a Saturday night.
The end game is financial redistribution of assets in order to fix a system that is not broken, level a playing field that will never be level (at any given time someone will be sick and someone will be well) and remove an individual’s right to choose – their own plan, doctor and treatment.
Mexicans are coming to Texas (particularly Houston) in droves. Instead of swimming across the Rio Grande with backpacks full lof drugs, they are armed with empty shopping bags and credit cards. Why?
Sales tax on all Mexican goods has increased from 11% to 16%.
They're travelling to Texas to purchase trendy, cheaper products at Texas shopping malls – certainly not a new occurrence because Mexicans typically spend about $4.5 billion in retail sales alone in Texas. Economists predict the increase in Mexican sales tax will add another $225 million in Texas retail sales.
Items preferred by Mexicans? Computers, iPhones, toys, clothing and golf equipment.
Of course, this news is largely ignored by award-winning Keynesian economists and liberal policy-makers who have not figured out that people naturally adjust their behavior to avoid taxes and regulations. One of the principle reasons why socialism always fails.
1) Trouble at the Office:Being found out that you are ordering a bunch of crap online and not actually…you know…working - something they pay to do so you can shop. Solution? Confess to your boss you were really looking at porn online.
2) Getting Tazed: Dumping coffee on your keyboard, causing an electric arc with your computer which electrocutes you like a mild taser. Solution? Have coworker tackle you to break the current.
3) Falling off your chair: Once you see the prices of stuff, you could experience sticker shock, causing you to flail backwards and fall out of your chair. Solution? Wear heavily padded clothing to avoid orthopedic injury.
4) Buying Crappy Gifts Because They Are Such a “Good Deal”: Before you take out that VISA card, think – does your wife really WANT rubber gloves with Frosty the Snowman Face appliqué? Does Uncle Joe want to belong to a the grapefruit of the month club?
5) Spending Too Much Money Overall: Okay, if you charge so much that you debt is 103 % of your personal household GDP, you have achieved Obama levels of debt that your grandchildren will have to pay.
6) Cute Pet outfits: Step away from the computer. No hats, jackets, sweaters, antlers, booties for your pets. Ever.
The White House continues to pretend that Obamacare has no effect on Americans’ work hours. Liberal pundits dismiss the fact that the U.S. is becoming a part-time nation as headline after headline describes corporate decisions to decrease employees’ work hours while CEOs grapple with the huge socialist tax and spend debacle known as Obamacare. Even AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka recently said that employers are "restructuring their workforce to give workers 29- and-a-half hours” to avoid Obamacare's health coverage mandate and unreasonable fines to employers.
The reality is just that the White House has only ONE WAY to claim that the decreasing work hours are merely "anecdotal" and part of some GOP talking point conspiracy. The only method the Obama administration has to deny the damage to the U.S. economy is to suppress and obfuscate the real data.
Case in point, Government economists have changed how they count workers limited to 29.5 hours as 30-hour-per-week workers. Any employee who has been held to less than 30 hours (29.5-29.75), is counted by the Obama administration as a 30-hour worker because the data was manipulated. In order to “prove” that Obamacare did not affect the number of workers clocking 30- to 34-hour work weeks, the White House used Current Population Survey data and the interviewers were instructed to “round up.” This number is what is used to calculate the unemployment rate. That “rounding error” has a tremendous result.
That means the White House has no clue how many of the 5-million-plus workers who are reported to be clocking 30-hour weeks are actually working 29.5 hours, though there are surely more than there used to be.
ObamaCare's impact on the work hours of people clocking 30 to 34 hours per week is of particular interest because these workers are already considered part-time under the Labor Department definition. Thus, their hours could be cut below 30 per week without any official rise in part-time employment.
There is currently NO ACCURATE DATA available about how many are actually working part-time (below 30 hours).
The new jobs numbers are racist and sexist, reflecting Obama’s war against working black youths and women.
Black youth unemployment is 393% higher than the overall national rate – and is at an eye-popping 36% rate.
American women participating in the nation’s labor force hit a new low at a rate of 56.9% according to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), continuing the trend of downward participation. The number of women holding jobs declined by 357,000 from September to October, and the unemployment rate increased for women from 6.7 percent to 6.9 percent.
Similarly, the number of women working in America dropped from 67,851,000 in September to 67,494,000 in October—a decline of 357,000.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is stunned at the sheer foolhardiness of the Obama administration’s latest “deal” with Iran, calling it a “monumental mistake” and a “grievous, historic error.”
Secretary of State John Kerry is on his way to Geneva after reportedly accepting Tehran’s proposals for relief from sanctions that are in place in exchange for Iran agreeing to limit some of their nuclear programs.
It is widely accepted that Iran is on the verge of fully realizing their goal of nuclear weapons; some have said they are as little as three months away from completion. The Obama administration has dithered and ignored the situation - much to the chagrin of the Saudis who have reportedly abandoned a decades old alliance with the United States, violated their nuclear proliferation agreement and are reportedly buying nuclear devices from Pakistan.
Netanyahu rightly pointed out that it took years for the economic sanctions against Iran to cause real pressure and as the painful consequences are finally being realized in Iran, to suddenly minimize the sanctions reduces leverage against the country which has repeatedly violated the NPT and displayed hostility with harsh rhetoric against Israel and the West.
"I understand the Iranians are walking around very satisfied in Geneva as well they should because they got everything and paid nothing. They wanted relief of sanctions after years of grueling sanctions, they got that. They paid nothing because they are not reducing in any way their nuclear enrichment capability. So Iran got the deal of the century and the international community got a bad deal. This is a very bad deal and Israel utterly rejects it. Israel is not obliged by this agreement and Israel will do everything it needs to do to defend itself and defend the security of its people." –Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu
Taking into consideration past behavior, It is doubtful that Iran will comply with the latest agreement to cap their nuclear enrichment program. Iran has long maintained they have been pursuing nuclear energy for purposes other than weapons (such as power and medical applications) even though their enrichment program is set up to produce reactor fuel and weapons grade material that could be used to create a bomb.
The negotiations have centered on Obama’s belief that, "Our job is to put in place mechanisms where we can verify what they're doing and not doing when it comes to their nuclear program." This is an impossible takes according to most experts. White House Spokesman Jay Carney further explained what the agreement would give up to the Iranians in the form of "limited, targeted and reversible relief that does not affect our core sanctions." Carney went on to say that, "the temporary, modest relief would be terminated, and we would be in a position to ratchet up the pressure even further by adding new sanctions."
Thus far, the sanctions have put extreme pressure on Iran affecting oil exports, gold and their freezing Iran’s funds I overseas accounts. This upcoming agreement would rollback all or part of those sanctions for mere assurances from Iran that they would limit the size and scope of their nuclear enrichment program.
As FOX News National Security Analyst KT McFarland said:
“I think were willingly being played… We are going to slowly but surely give up the sanctions… lift the sanctions… and the Iranians are going to pretend to stop their nuclear program, and we are going to pretend to believe them.”
Mitt Romney made a rare appearance Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press in a one-on-one with
David Gregory. Romney claimed that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, if named
the GOP nominee for President in 2016, could potentially “save” the Republican
Party. Gregory asked if Romney also saw Texas Senator Ted Cruz as a
"strong light." Romney dismissed the notion of Cruz as a serious
candidate or party leader: "Look,
I'm not going to disqualify anybody. But I think I've indicated some of the
names that I think are most effective in becoming elected, and we'll see where
The reality for the GOP is that it must stop taking advice

In order to win and save the United States from the dangerous
path of financial ruin and European style socialist policies, the GOP should
focus on domestic fiscal issues that are killing the American economy and
hurting the average working family.
As a nation, we are broke.
In May 2012, the national debt started growing faster than GDP,
which means that we are borrowing at a faster rate than we can possibly produce.
Contrast that with the 1950s when America accounted for one half of the world's
Gross Domestic Product, owning nearly 3/4 of the world's gold, with a trade surplus
and we were the world’s leading creditor. Today, we're $17 trillion in debt, no
gold, and the trade surpluses are gone. America's share of GDP has dropped to 25%,
while the United States borrows 46 cents for every dollar it spends. The U.S.
Treasury is the largest purchaser of our own bonds. "Debt service is crowding out normal
economic functioning," according to Paul Brodsky, co-founder and manager
of QB Asset Management. "The
economy is shrinking."
Obama was responsible for the United States loss of our Triple A Credit
Rating for the first time in the nation’s history.
And after the most recent debt ceiling debate and shutdown, Chinese

Keynesian Stimulus Failed.
The more than a trillion dollars of panic spending in 2008
did not work. It left the economy in a seemingly permanent slump. The labor
force participation rate dropped to 63.2%, the lowest level since 1978, as job
creation remains lackluster unemployment has stubbornly stayed over 7%. These
increases in spending guaranteed future increased tax rates. Current statistics
prove that redistributed income from the productive middle class to those on the
dole did not magically cause consumer purchasing to increase as promised. Instead it fostered the reduced productivity
that inevitably follows a shift of resources away from productive investment to the stagnant welfare pot of government
Obamacare Does Not Work. At All.
A comprehensive 50-state study by the Heritage Foundation has found that
insurance premiums will increase under the first year of Obamacare in 45 of 50
You can’t keep
your coverage. Most will not
qualify for the touted “affordability credits.” Instead, they will not only face higher premiums and deductibles,
but will also receive increased out-of-pocket costs, and restrictions on choice
of doctors and procedures. Coverage is being cancelled every day while companies are scrambling to
afford the standards and pages of new regulations. Workers hours are being cut
to less than 30 per week for employers to avoid healthcare fines.
The quality of
care will be adversely impacted. Obamacare has already added fuel to
the shortage of practicing physicians with physicians retiring and future MDs
opting for other careers. Obamacare will force government decision boards who
will get between doctors and patients, restricting
physicians’ autonomy. Rationing will be the inevitable consequence.

TARP (Troubled Asset Relief
Program) was sold as a way to stabilize the economy during the financial crisis
of 2008. It turned out to be a way for the less-than-prescient Obama administration
to reward campaign donors, prop up cronies and pick winners and losers (losers
in this case) and use a carrot and stick mentality to control business.
This week the Special Inspector

Judicial Watch also uncovered in

My advice: Don't EVER buy another GM car again.
Note this GM ad which is nothing more than a pack of lies:
