From WND.com:
A notification was sent to airman specifically instructing them to avoid reading stories about the Verizon and other metadata scandals. The notice prohibits members (users of the Air Force NIPRNET -Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network) from accessing published news stories and documents relating to the records. The NIPRNET is typically the network used by troops stationed overseas and on bases in the U.S. to gain access to the Internet.
The last line of the executive summary states:
“Users are not to use AF NIPRNET systems to access the Verizon phone records collection and other related news stories because the action could constitute a Classified Message Incident.”
Look what they've done to my Air Force. Makes me wanna hurl.
