So thrilled to note that Texas State Senator Wendy Davis got hers (her 15 minutes of fame, that is) by scolding lawmakers to "get outta the vagina business." Sorry, Wendy - you ain't no Ann Richards.
Davis' catheter circus began with an ad in Craiglist/Austin offering $1,300 to $2,200 per month for protestors to “protect women’s rights” with no experience required. The paid -for mob then descended to the balcony of the Austin statehouse, shouted ridiculous things and totally disrupted the democratic process of lawmaking. These actions ensured that no legislation could be voted on before the time limit, forcing a special session and wasting more than a million bucks of taxpayer dollars.
The organizers of this “campaign” are from moonbat central (the State of Colorado).Time for Texas to occupy and annex Colorado – Texas needs some decent ski resorts.
So why did these henchman stop the legislative session? Because a grandstanding bimbo like Wendy Davis needed to get some national attention for her ill-fated future run for Governor of Texas. The bill she is protesting is SB5 – a fair bill which upgrades the health standards abortion providers MUST follow and does not allow abortions to babies over 20 weeks. The “offending” bill provides that women must be given a hospital contact post-procedure and that medical clinics performing abortions have the same standards as ambulatory care facilities. How “awful.”
20 week old babies are nearly fully formed, move, hiccup and sneeze in utero. Babies as young as 24 weeks are regularly kept alive in the event of premature birth. The only two procedures available to abort a baby of more than 20 weeks are 1) to induce dilation (and labor) then using sharp-edged instruments the “healthcare provider” will grasp, twist and tear the baby’s body into pieces or 2) the saline abortion where salt water is injected into the womb through the mother’s abdomen. The unborn baby swallows this fluid, is poisoned and dies in a process that sometimes takes 24 + hours. The toxic saline solution causes severe burns over the unborn child’s entire body. Even the “clump of cells” pro-choice crowd should have the humanity to find these two procedures barbaric and unnecessary.
The paid mob also interrupted the ability to vote on important legislation relating to the funding of transportation infrastructure projects and legislation relating to establishing a mandatory sentence of life with parole for a capital felony committed by a 17-year-old offender.
The cost to the Texas taxpayer to fund special sessions to finalize these votes is $1.1 million.
Send the bill to friggin Wendy Davis.
