Obama has driven Israel into the arms of the Saudis with the Iranian deal that allows Iran to continue with its enrichment program and eases sanctions against the rogue nation.
Klein reported that Israeli officials travelled to Saudi Arabia to inspect bases to be used to launch attacks (airstrikes) against Iran. The U.S. is trying to prevent an Israeli strike,
Former Carter Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski and Obama advisor told The Daily Beast to shoot the Israelis down if they strike Iran and then pretend it is accidental like Israel’s accidental strike of the American ship the Liberty in 1967:
“They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch? We have to be serious about denying them that right. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a 'Liberty' in reverse.’"
The Obama administration is apparently threatening Israel and the Saudis, reminding the two unlikely allies that Americans control radar capabilities over the skies around Iran and any strike against Iran requires U.S. permission.
The deal is a bad one – it allows for Iran to enrich uranium up to 20% (which is 80% of the way to weapons grade enrichment anyway) and keep current centrifuges. The Iranians are not required to completely dismantle their reactor. At the same time, Iran gets sanctions relief, including the freeing of $7 billion or more in frozen assets.
